The term paper is an article written by students on a specific academic term, typically accounting for about a third of a class’s grade. Merriam Webster says it”is a scholarly written assignment, usually of a short duration, representative of their student’s achievement throughout a period of education”. Term papers are used to present study findings from scientific studies and other resources. They are used in order to raise issues and questions in the classroom and also assist the instructor to draw up a definition of the term or topic to be covered in the next class session.

An introduction is usually included at the conclusion of any word paper, although some teachers may include the introduction following the discussion of the main topic. The introduction provides a brief summary of the literature review and also the writer expresses his admiration for people who have shared their views with him. Then he presents his conclusions and calls for pupils to come up with their own answers. The title page is used to identify this point and to initiate additional discussion.

The other part of the term paper – the material – includes the text. It is the only part that’s read by classmates or other students who are not the focus of the writing. Grades depend on the degree of the writing, which comprises the writing itself and some other references or supporting data.

Composing normally begins after the primary factors are covered, using a detailed literature review, which can be an evaluation of the composing’s accuracy and significance. The literature review will assess if students understood the main points of the term paper.
